I just wanted to say that I really really enjoyed making the invitations, it made me feel a lot more involved in the wedding and feel like I've put a little touch of my creativity towards it.

One afternoon I invited two of my bridesmaids over and we had a lovely time sitting around chatting and making them. It wasn't at all stressful and although they're not the most crafty people we had no problems in putting them together.

The printing experience was fine despite my concerns and the light greyish font that you suggested in your sheets was definitely the way to go.

I must mention the packaging it all came in, it was fantastic! I got sooo excited when it arrived that I was overly careful undoing all of the tissue paper and wrapping ribbon as I didn't want to ruin it!

Overall I would recommend your services to anyone who is getting married. My bridesmaid has already been telling a colleague at work that they should use you and a friend of mine is recently engaged and I've already been gushing about invitations.

Wedding invitations are so important as they set the tone for your entire wedding day and I got a real sense of satisfaction in making them myself. Thank you very much for the sending the kit so quickly. We have started making them and I’m loving it! The ribbon’s gorgeous, the card excellent quality and the patterned paper beautiful, and all in the right colours. We also want to order place cards, menus, co-ordinating favours, table plan if that is possible. Both myself, my mom, my sister and mother-in-law-to-be are quite crafty so we love anything like this ... it’s been such a great way to get all the girls involved!

Dates for the diary

BrideMade will be exhibiting at the National Wedding Show at Olympia from Friday 22 nd to Sunday 24 th February (Stand number H55). It’s a fantastic opportunity to view invitation designs, and browse swatch books and talk to us in person. There will also be opportunities to have a go at making an invitation yourself - We’d really love to see you there!
